Life's a Bitch (Rmx) - Nice! I think the trumpet in the chorus could be pushed back in a mix, seems a little bit overwhelming when it kicks in, but I like the beat a lot.
Luv sic (Rmx) - Is that a filtered piano that sounds all echoy? Pretty tight. Could probably use a tiny bit more in the low end just to fill out the sound space more but it sounds tight!
They Can't Stop Me - coo. like the variations at 1:23 & 1:42.
Tacky Attacky - I like the vibe on this one. Feels like I'm on the playground.
Don't Be Surprised - I'd prefer some more in the low end (no homo), a bassline that would fill it out more or deeper kicks, but I like it as it is too. Sound like somethin Dead Prez would be spittin on.
I've finally been getting back into the lab, haven't been on the MTM boards in a hot minute. All feedback welcome. Looking for feedback on overall sound, levels/mix, addition/improvement suggestions.
1) Live from the 9 - I really like the piano, bass, and strings. I like the drums too but they feel a little stiff. Overall I'm def diggin this jawn.
2) Breezy - The piano is nice. I don't really like that snare it sounds outta place in the track to me. Don't take this the wrong way, but this sounds like the backround music that they used to play at this restaurant I used to work at. I like this beat tho.
3) Playback - This beat is nice. Nothin wrong with this one at all.
First off, I think all three of the beats are great. "Playback" was crazy. I loved the drums and the melody. "Live from" is very forward that is for sure. I mean, I think its more than just a beat. I thought the melody and drums are strong on all of the tracks.

the newest one I put up is an old joint, lol, there all old joints, but yeah, its called "Nova Groove" its a simple little loopy piece of groove that sounded quite good to me!
and I got a few remixes up.
I dont really post anything new cause I'm trying to work on a project at the moment of which you can read about in my blogs!

I went through and checked out the tracks on your myspace.
"New Era", the drums are crazy. I like the hi hats and cymbals as well. It is definetly a break through in the sense that the groove is really different.
"Buddy Melo", the beat is cold. I love the organ riff/sample in it. The drums are perfect for it as well. The hi hat is a little loud on the mix but, I myself have done that so its not a big deal. Its kick ass.
"Anti Lavish", sick. I love the drums once again. The riff is super sick I don't know but the sound like wind chymes? Sick beat.

First off, "Tha Rael Bounce" is tight. The whole thing is sick. Keep up the habit. I love the drum tracks in the song. That is what caught me right off. The drums...
The remix of "Success" was ill too. Good looking.

Stretch,
The beats are cool. The melodies in them are cool definetley something new to hear. I dont know if they are samples or if your are playing them out but very different. Different is sometimes doper than the average meoldies.
Track 6 and Track 12 are my favorites. I would suggest bringing the hi hat and cymbals down, they just seem louder that the rest of the beat.
All in all the beats are dope and they have wicked transistions in them. That is cool. The tracks are original.
