I don't know the reasons why but apparently they have extended the "Real Thang" remix contest. The new deadline is now July 31st. There's a link on OKP homepage (though they listed the wrong song) and when I followed the links, I saw the official announcement.

I'm glad we finally heard something about it...even if it was just to say ""we are extending the contest""!! But this gives me the chance to personally submit the true final version of my remix that I did not get a chance to submit as I was trying to meet the original Apr. 25th deadline.

they did like 1 or 2 of the submitted remixes but they didn't have enough to pick three winners. Either way, I'm glad they extended the deadline...gives me the chance to submit a final master as oppossed to the rough mix I had to submit because of the original Apr. 25th deadline.

the tempo is just crazy loose on this and the bleed too.

funny thing is i had scrapped my remix due to time restraints.
took my remix beat and used it for my own track.
now that it's extended i've remixed that into something
even more out there. should be cool when it's done.

YEAH!!!!!!!! That was just silly, and the headphone bleed. and WHY are all her vocals summed on one aiff track??? I want to pan them differently than he did...blah.....anyway...
I did one, its on my myspace. I had to line that mf up to a grid. took a long ass time. BUT now that I did that, at least I have it all primed to do a couple more.....
