well, i'm gonna put it out there: yup, like erykah herself this remix is different and interesting - i hope! but i've been making beats for a living for 8 years now, and i can guarrantee this is the best hip hop/indonesian drumming track you're gonna hear all day lol! so if interesting and different sounds good to you, check it out.

...stayed along the same vein that we are were used to hearing from Badu while others ventured into unfamiliar territory. I know for me personally, I consciously tried to give her something different stylistically... hence the Reggae inspired vibe. Very interestiing works so far!

Really impressive and innovative joint. Absurdly fonky organs and guitar then you flip it completely into a rock n roll metal style, while keeping it totally Badu. Damn, I might end up liking yours better than mine. LOL...

Real Thang Remix - Nice very laid back. Something for a Sunday afternoon get-together. Very Badu. Only thing is I wouldve used a different hand clap. Sounds Like YESSSSSS - Pretty good drums and sultry keyboard work. I like. Betta Run (revised) - That's OK but not loud enough. THRICEnew - Not too mesmerized by this one but it's good background music. Royalty - Interesting but kind of stilted. I feel keepin it simple but it couldve used more imagination. Inspired by Prince?

i listened to yours too, they sound really good..only suggestion would be to listen again to her melody over your harmony..there are a few sour notes where ur harmony doesn't fit her melody notes but maybe thats the sound you wanted..if so then ignore this...
