"Fruity Loops?"


          

I jus got this FL Studio 5 program and I also purchased a USB-MIDI interface cable....I got an 'ol yamaha PSR-290 keyboard but I can't seem to get the damn thing to play through the FL program...any suggestions?

OPEN FL
GO TO MIDI SETTINGS SITUATED ON THE "OPTIONS" DROP DOWN
SELECT MAPPER YOU WANNA USE(DESIGNED FOR PC SPECIFICS)
CLICK ALL BUTTONS TO ORANGE SO YOU'LL NEVER GO WRONG!

LASTLY CLOSE THE SETTINGS WINDOW AND YO OF TO GO....

In the input section, there's a list of controller types. If I were you, I'd just get one of those. I still can't figure out how to use a microphone or keyboard in FL w/o a controller.
