i think the sample could come up a little in the mix, or maybe bring that snare down. also the drums sound dry, some high end reverb on the hats and tail of the snare could make it feel a tad less robotic.
but im nitpicking.
sounds clean. that's a great sample. (assuming you sampled.)

Banging ‘ish esp. Notepad which sounds a bit more up to date than Philly Soul (both are nice though). It’s said above too, work on your kicks and you’ll kick ass.

Composition and arrangement (hell: the beat, lol) are sounding dope but somehow it doesn’t sound finished yet. I guess a bassline would finish the job. There are some bass elements in the samples you used (@ some parts) but still…
I listen to people's tracks, respond to people's post, talk trash to spark some interest, but you guys on here are boring. Bad beats, self-jockery, temper tantrums, and stanism of anyone associated with Okayplayer makes this place so lifeless and dull. Step the game up. Too many dudes want to be J Dilla/Primo/Jazzy Jeff/Pete Rock/Hi-Tek/random 'hip hop' producer clones. Where is the talent? Where is the action? Where is the excitement? My bullshit posts are more entertaining than any beat I have heard in the last six weeks.
I hope the moderators take this into consideration and do away with 'Make The Music'. This is the weakest section by far.
Dude, your beats sound all the same,....sound like lil john or swissbeat or whatever average synth crap,your beats got no soul , it's absolute flatness.
I haven't been able to get the songs to play though. It's taking forever... maybe it's just me, but if anyone has tips on how to resolve this, let me know.

first off, imo these are the best two i've heard from you guys (all ive heard is bruce tho). smoke dro is dope, i like the vibe with the silent horn sample, but i'd think when you do the final mix you could bring 'em up a bit because its NICE. thats great production on "mic back" because the interludes are perfect for bringin in a different mc each time. i'd love to know if all those samples are from the same source...the last minute when the beat rides out with the vocals is awesome.

Loving all the tracks and ‘Believe in yourself’ is straight up super. You could work on sound quality. New Joint and Myspace Teaser are heluva clipped (esp. the kicks), beat 1 is overdoing it in the high frequencies (although part of that comes with the wack myspace enconding).
Made this joint from a beat that Phonte was feelin during an interview...I hit the brova up to check it out and he gave me some props too!! for a quick beat i think its aite ya'll lol...

I just checked out page 1 for now. For the most part, I like what I'm hearing. Trumpet in the Night and Body & Soul were definitely my favorites. There's no way you could make those beats better. L.O.V.E. would've been your best beat, but I felt like it never really quite broke-down (also on Thing Are Happening). It kinda reminded me of how a lot of the beats on Cudi's 2nd CD were, where I felt they would be great if they had some more prominent drums on them, but they don't so it comes off boring to me. I'll definitely check out more though. There was only 1 track that I just flat-out didn't care for, and that was Electric Experiment Pt. 4.
