-BACK UP YOUR WORK!!!!!!!Zips are great but once one goes bad crazy work it gone!
-this one might be obvious to some but I never really thought about it. KEEP IT AND YOUR DISK AWAY FROM YOUR TURNTABLE(if you use one) My 1200 put a hurting on my Zip disk. I didnt realize that I was sitting it on the damn turntable! Bad Idea.

You need the proper cable,check out www.midicase.com I got a zip ,and it's fragile as hell,mad expansive, and unsafe medium. ZIP suck's get a multicard reader.(i got to do it to

I don't have an MPC but it seems like it would make sense for Akai to install a USB slot on their machines. No one wants to be bothered with expensive and heavy zip disks or a bunch of CD-R disks. You can get a small USB drive with like 8 gigs of memory for 200 bucks off of Ebay. That would make things much more simple.

.....and I definately get tired of havin' to uze dem when makin' beatz with a lot of samplez in dem cauze of da tyme it takez to load it back up to work on.
Maybe I should invezt in a card reader or somethin'.
