"Just got a Macbook Pro"

Ok so far, I've recording rough draft shit with Cubase LE 4 with the Lexicon Iomega Lamba Interface. I tried to use with Garage Band but its not working right. Just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for another interface that would be more compatible with it. And also, any DAW controllers as well.

I don't know how many inputs you need, though, it's only got two. I don't know much about Cubase compatibility either. But it'll def work well with Garageband, it's got really nice preamps and it's super small and portable.

As far as controllers, you mean like motorized faders and a transport? If you just want a transport, just get a MIDI controller that has one on it and use that as your transport (may require some command assignment programming). If you want motorized faders, look into the Euphonix stuff... bad ass but pricey.

I'm looking at something like Project Mix I/O that can work with any program as far as a controller. Never heard of Apogee. I'll do some research on that.

Look into MOTU interfaces, they usually have very good pre's (quality pre's at that too)
