6. "GERONIMO PRATTTT mentioned, thank GOD" In response to Reply # 0
So far, I haven't seen ANY mention of his defense of Geronimo Pratt on CNN.
Panther Power in full effect, though, or Else Johnny Cochran wouldnt have gotten through.
Listen, isn't it a shame, a crime, that when you go to MSNBC.com, they're making their head story be about Child Porn???
They're trying to maake it look like Michael's Guilty. Otherwise they wouldnt have put his LAWYER (J.C.) in smaller picture than a WHITE man BOY SCOUT LEADER???? PLEASE.
It's as if their framing it how Paul Mooney joked... "1-900-Blame-A-Nigger")

Look, Black people in America are scared. Black people around the world are scared. If you ask someone who's NOT scared, who'd they rather fuck, Paris or Serena, they'd say... why do I have to choose? I'd fuck BOTH of them.. ANy body would. They're fucking beautiful WOMEN.
They probably only said Paris out of Guilt. Conditioning to believe that White people are more valuable because they're skin is light.
oh my God, I thought you was joking. God rest his soul. "The only thing we wanted for our country was the right to a decent existence, to dignity without hypocrisy , to independence without restrictions... The day will come when history will have its say."-Lumumba
17. "Problematic Statement" In response to Reply # 9
See I have issues with this comment. Not that the statment isn't funny or that Johnnie Cochran hasn't been associated with that saying (re: the O.J. Simpson trail), but it becomes problematic when the only, or at least main, thing he's noted for is that case.
Know that this is not directed to the "if it doesn't fit you must acquit," post, but more of the frustration I felt today when I tried to look for articles on HIM and over 50% of it had to do with O.J., and even a larger commentary on how the final descision was flawed and what the Brown family is coping... That's effed up! I mean can the man die with a more wholistic account of his acheivements?!
even though white america tried to deny him, johnny became the best trial lawyer in the country. somewhere, i get the sneaking suspicion that chris darden & marcia clark will be having a toast over this.

19. "a lot of people will miss him" In response to Reply # 0
everybody ( all black, afro-american and africans in america, and latino's) i talked to was floored by the news of the great j.c.'s death. its crazy, im not into mourning too much, but damm this hit me and just seeing other people's reaction just shows how people loved him, maybe without even knowing it.
