my i pod video 30 gb has locked up twice. the second time it was making a high pitched noise, kinda like you hear after going to club and the music is way too loud. does anyone know what the problem might be.

Stopped playing in stereo. So I took it in today, and they replaced it straight up, o questions. Even though it was one day over the warranty. Was damn happy.
