Nowadays, if I'm posting content to the web, it's in ogg format. Sounds better than MP3 all day long.
You can use Sound Forge ($$$) or Audacity (Free) to convert them to mp3 format. If you're not going to load them into a portable device, leav them as ogg files.
I rip everything I buy to ogg, 99% of the time better quality than mp3, and even when mp3's sound better, always a bigger file. so better quality and lower file size means ogg>>>>mp3.
so now the question is, where can one find a community of likeminded people with a sharing spirit....?
