"My DVD drive isn't working"


  

          

i bought this laptop a fucking year ago and already it's fucking up. one of the problems is that with some dvds (namely, roots TV II) have to put the disc in multiple times before it does anything with it. i go up to D: drive and click on it and it doesn't even recognize that there's anything in there. what is the problem? i've got a Dell Inspiron 1000.

in the control panel or you could disable and re-enable the drive in the Control Panel, again under the System option, but they'll be an option for Device Manager under on of the tabs.
