My PC recognizes my digicam as a mass storage device. Anyone know how I can get it to recognize it as a digicam and maybe even get it to transfer pics through Kodak Easyshare?
And I know that you shouldn't connect the cam until the software is installed. But.. the app crashed, and my pc recognized the cam as a storage device.
I can still transfer, but I have to go into the app and select that option, then select the drive, whereas it used to automatically come up when the cam was recognized.

i just copy/paste the pictures off of it. it works fine with the software it came with, but i never use it. if i need to touch up, rotate, or do whatever to the pcitures i use a free prog called irfan.
u may be able to do the same thing.
