Man, is Madden stripped down So far the cameras are horrid, you can't see your receivers... And like I predicted, I got mad delay of games because they are kinda slow getting to the line. Too many cutscenes.
NBA Live demo, the camera are just as bad.
However, the graphics are dope and I can see improvements with next years jawn.
But yeah add back the coach calls, the training camp, Owners, a better passing camera...

you can press the shoulder button pre snap to view the whole field and it will stay up there. and once u snap the ball, it zooms out anyways, so i cant complain about that.
i hvaent gotten one delay of game yet. you can skip all the 'cutscenes' with the press of a button, too.
but yes, the stripped-downedness sucks. I like playing next gen football though, but we all know madden 2007 is gonna be the one we've been waiting for.

I do, but the first play when you first get the ball...when you try to read the defense or when you want to assign the receiver with a new assignment, you have to press B and cycle through. Can't do that when you had 10 secs left and you just got up to the line of scrimmage.

...and remembered that was what I was talking about. I'm used to seeing my receivers. I can't and there are times I wanna go back to upclose. Won't let me do that.
I mean I'm kinda nitpicking, but the Xbox version is better than the 360 in those regards.

EA sports FUCKED the gamerscore, because you can rack up 500 points in madden in like 30 minutes, look at the achievement list and you'll see.
second - I downloaded the demo for NFS: MW and uh, it sucks. the sense of speed sucks, the framerate isn't choppy, but the game feels jerky, the handling and gameplay sucks.

Madden seemed to be fine. I loved the graphics to Live, but it seemed sluggish as hell though. I didn't really mind the stripped down parts since season mode and online is all I play anyway. Still, it isn't a good look for EA to charge $60 for a stripped down game so I feel you pain.
-no fair play online -no defensive playmaker, i cant switch guys to spys when i play vick -i've seen the game glitch up at times, like it will switch which reciever i set the qb vision on before i snap, and one game, it wouldnt let me snap the ball for field goals.
i still find it enjoyable, but i am really looking forward to the next one. what i would like to see is a way to set depth charts and audibles to your xbox live account so you don't have to set it every time you play an online game.

That's my biggest complaint about Madden...oh and that QB vision shyt. It's hard to look off receivers during blitzes, sometimes u don't have time to hit the R2 and receiver, then throw to the receiver using precision passing.
Live players still iceskate and there are no profiles. The game does look better, but that's not sayin' much. I would have copped it, if I hadn't played 2k6.

You won't see true madden success until 08 I bet.

If that had of just ported it made it better looking, people would be ok with that. They actually tried to change too much and cut out a ton of stuff that was in 06 for the PS2, Cube and Xbox.
Does anyone else have disconnection problems with Madden. I've played about 8 or 9 games and I haven't gotten through a whole match yet without being logged off.

I've played 3 full games and it just doesn't feel right. All the missing modes are lame, but I'm talking about once you get past all that and get in the game. It feels off.
