Saw this Verge article right when I was trying to figure out how to use my 2006 Black Macbook and get a little more out of my 2008 Macbook for the offspring and now that they can dual boot it seems like the solution. Anyone here tried it? I spent my Saturday night trying to get it on my USB but still nothing. If I can get this it to dual boot that would be perfect since all they most of the things they do is netflix, youtube and kids sites that have video and small games.

running off of a live USB stick and this thing is amazing. I'm going to use the USB on my 08 and do the whole thing on the '06 until they come with a dual boot solution for macs.

It would have cost a bunch to get staples to disposed of.

I just knew that there was a school or non-profit in NYC that would want them.

Called around and none did. Mind you these machines were probably only 4 or 5 years old. I thought it was crazy.

4 to 5 year old computers and they flat out turned them down? With this on it they're good for a while no matter what they need to throw at it.
