You guys got me so tempted with that PS4 bundle but I'm not sure I can pull the trigger. What has me really wanting it is in about to do an overseas assignment and I'll need some entertainment. Already got the XB1 though.

i don't think you'll find any outlets going much lower than $299 but some places may toss in a few extras to entice you to spend that $299 with them. i believe newegg.com is (was?) offering a headset and controller charging station along with the uncharted bundle for a total of $299

I'm tired of using the shitty pack-in piece on the PS4. The X1 is serviceable, but I'm willing to splurge on a Bluetooth set that is compatible for both consoles and PC. I need to be able to game in glorious surround sound without waking up the wife.
Sounds like Turtle Beach is the de facto brand, but I'm open to what else is out there.
It's more than I wanted to spend, but the article is focused on PC gamers and the assumption that they would have a good sound card/amplifier on their rig. I really liked the description for the Sennheiser GAME ONE (especially the open back ear cups) but it's not ideal for console gaming. Since this is my first real headset I bit the bullet for the one with surround sound and a better plug n play experience for consoles.
I wouldn't have minded spending this much for a wireless headset but it sounds like none of them reviewed very well in terms of sound quality.

I bought a second one from bhphotovideo.com. Lots of freebies included and no tax for most states. Having a second body allows me to switch lenses less when hiking and traveling. I'll probably keep my Zeiss zoom on one body and my Zeiss prime on the other. I've had the a6000 since it came out and it's a great camera and this is a great deal for what it's capable of.

the other thing is there is the advantage of the aps-c size sensor when it comes to its crop factor and equivalent focal length. tough to get much reach with the A7's full frame sensors, however, with the A7RII's 42 MP you still get about 18 MP in crop mode which isn't bad. again, i just don't want to drop that kind of dough when you know sony is gonna keep updating the bodies.
i've seen new A7RII's go for $2699 already though.

they breaking down these sale tvs, smh was about to pull the trigger on one of these $599 best buy deals went to that site and they're acting like those models are bargain basement low quality joints i'm just going invest the time and read thru all of their attribute explanations (black levels etc) apparently some of these 120hz joints aren't even native (ie:tru motion 120hz)

ordered until dawn at 3am thanksgiving morning they just emailed me talking about the item didn't ship yet and if it doesn't ship from the supplier in 10 days they're going cancel the order and refund me wtf so you're not going honor the sale? what if i ordered a 60" tv? you would hold my money for 2 weeks then just cancel the order, refund me, and say o well? foh
