Once you in the framework just makes working with types and classes like driving down a Cali highway

How rapidly can you develop an application using .NET? Are you just tinkering around for a homebrew project or something for work?

doing ms office automation right now and writing a utility to do bulk remediation for 200,000+ database files for work.

honestly I don't mind... new gig has lots of soft and hard skill aspects and a ton of different areas I can move and advance in..

last gig hired me at the ceiling and tasked me with a bunch of menial IT bullcrap as well as a major migration & implementation project.. all because they couldn't afford to hire me as a consultant.

few things sucks more than being in a job you are overqualified for with no real potential for the future.
