i know there's a deals thread going but this is too good and i wanted to make sure you OKP's see this.
yo, just got the XB1 for $189 at best buy. i just found out last night that until 11/15/2014 they are running a deal with guaranteed $100 gift card for trade in of 360 or PS3 plus an extra $50 if you put towards an XB1. here's the thing, they also give another $10 for each controller you turn in, including the one that comes with the system.
breakdown: + $349 XB1 bundle sale price (i got the AC Unity) - $100 console trade in - $10 controller trade in - $50 extra trade in till 11/15/2014
= $189 for brand new XB1 bundle. that is a screaming deal with a newly released game bundled in.
if you were even contemplating an XB1 then this is a no brainer.
shit, with the extra savings i even bought AC Rogue for 360 which is a last gen exclusive. i don't game much anymore, but AC is a franchise that i follow so i had to get that chapter of the story. plus i read its pretty good and works well if you play it before Unity. hadn't used my PS3 for quite some time though so it was outta here. too bad i only had one controller because i could have gotten it even cheaper.

they just asked me what size the hard drive was and clicked it on the computer/register. they didn't actually check it. they just made sure that it turned on. i can't remember on the xbox's, does it say the size of the HD on the outside?
results may very, but i've read other places on the web that they did the same at other stores. just asked you info and made sure it powered on. done.

i looked at amazon trade in, gamestop, put it on craigslist, etc. and wasn't coming close. best craigslist offer i had was $60, amazon was $35 or something. xbox pro 20G is not getting you $100 anywhere else.
