"How do I overwrite my "Album Artist" info with "Artist" for my mp3s?"
I just started using Google Music and I've learn that they use Album Artist instead of Artist to sort albums. I've never been good at using the Album Artist mp3 tag but was pretty religious about keeping my mp3 tags neat and updated otherwise. So to fix this problem I would like to overwrite Album Artist with the Artist info. Can't figure out an easy way to mass do this. Not even with using an application like tag and rename. Any thoughts?
This is the only thing keeping me from the cloud?!?!?

I have tons of music that i'm going through and renaming and tagging files, MediaMonkey is a really good/powerful music organizer.free version is all you need, might take you a few mins to get the hang of how it works (you can fuck shit up if you're not careful). check out some youtube vids on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vsSp3EcTQM
I have tracks where i label everything (artist, album artist, features, etc....) then organize the file's location. and now that the file is properly tagged i use the tool to rename the files to be <track#>-<trackname>.mp3 en mass w/out having to rename each individual file. it shows you the before and after so you can be sure you like how it looks.
or you can just right click the mp3 file in it's folder location and select properties then details tab (in Windows OS). you should be able to edit the same fields manually. and you should be able to do multiple tracks at once.
