Anyone else copping this? I'm getting this for free. And seeing how I'm a HUGE "Alien" stan, I'm glad to see them try to make a game based off the first film. Shit the storyline could've been a new Alien movie.

The world is perfect. It IS Alien. Visually speaking everything is perfect. The whole retrofuturistic feel that movies have tried to capture with varying degrees of difficulty, its absolutely NAILED here. The sound is an interesting dynamic and made me wish i had a sweet rig. When you hear that tumbling overhead and the motion tracker starts beeping like crazy....shit. Had me feeling like Cpl Hudson a couple times.
On the other hand, its fucking hard. And only scary the first couple times you try to do something. And you will try more than a couple times. And you have to continually upgrade the map for it to even be considered worthless. Otherwise its so unhelpful as to where you would be better off without a map to trick you. Crafting dynamic is cool. The save system is not. Overall a decent game with GREAT stuff around it.
