Since I am forced to have WIn8 on all my PCs I have been lusting for one. Seems the prices are starting to drop a little.

Win 8. Tried to downgrade to WIn 7 and didn't run well on the new machines.

invest in one only to find out the integration with my most-used software is wonky.

Plus, I'm on Win7 still, so OS integration isn't up there either. I'll get on it one day, I'm sure.

Ive had it for a couple of years now. I didnt buy it though. My father inlaw got one free at work and gave it to us. Cool in theory but using a mouse/keyboard makes more sense. Tablets make sense because you can lay them flat or hold them and in one hand and use the other to touch the screen. The monitor is sitting on the desk arms length away. Now I have to sit up lean forward and hold my arm out to take advantage of it.

my kids are so use to phones and tablets, a touch screen computer will help them transition to using a desktop. I know, not a great reason.

I'll trade you my 23' inch dell monitor for your touch screen?
