after going 40 fights, and being 30-10, age 30, and 11 years of boxing and ranked only 16th, I think it's time I hang it up. 10 losses is my personal cut off.
The guy I made is 6'1", 203lbs, 74" reach. Orthodox, Conventional fighter. I ended with:
Overall - 77 Rank - 112 p4p / 16hvy levels in dbl digits - Jab, Straight, L Hook Head, Combinations, Blocking, Head Movement, Chin.
Athleticism Strength - 77 (at one point, it was up to 90?) Speed - 77 (again, was up to 90) Endurance - 79 (was an 85) Conditioning - 87 (was 95 at some point) Toughness - 87 (don't remember how high this got) Reflexes - 87 (I don't remember this one changing much from this)
From what I can tell, at this age, and 11 years in, his stats are dropping quicker than I can repair them and they only give you 4/5 weeks between fights. You have one week to train, and with that, you get 80% of your stamina back. So, realistically, you can spar once, do a athleticism drill or 2 at med/low and then you have to rest. OR you can try and spar twice and rest 2x but sometimes, it doesn't work like that because the last week is fight week. So when it shows 5, you really only have 4.
I think my boxer build has me limited because his height, reach are normally shorter than most other fighters. They all seem to have a bit longer reach than I do, even when we're the same height. I also think conventional is that mediocre style so that it doesn't really have a strength that I can max out. Even with that topped out straight, I only got 21 KO's and only 1 flash knockdown.
I'm also going to try a different weight class, all the heavyweights retired and all that are left is Tyson and Ali and they both have over 60 wins....by the time I get a shot, I'll be fighting nobodies.
Off to the new creation. ------------------------------------- www.nappyafro.com | www.soulections.com
