" ~~~~~~~WHY I LOVE AFRICA~~~~~~~~" Sun Dec-18-05 05:09 PM by Monique
If one cannot travel via the Ocean waves, or Airways it can be done here on-line.Congratulations to the fortunate people who have been to the Continent of Africa.
There is so much strife in Africa, yet one can read about the "Love" for the continent.
How much of a kindred spirit as in Kinfolk will we feel after reading the different stories.

WHY I LOVE AFRICA BBC
Your Perspectives -- to the right on the page. Many stories.
"Mention any car and they can fix any fault. They have never seen inside a University, yet they are engineers-doctors for all cars".
"they are indeed the Jacks of all trades".
I definitely know of many with these skills and more.

FAMILY REUNION
I Come From A FAMILY of more than a thousand members-the Quanders of the Maryland-Virginia area. We are one of the oldest documented African families in America, dating back more than 300 years.Maybe that'swhy I wanted to go all the way back to our African roots.I have always been attracted to Africa and have thought of it as home.
.....My work as a journalist has taken me from....to many African nations...I've been distracted on every trip....
I've found myself scanning faces in market places, sidewalk cafes and villages, always seeking recognition and a familiar face. This quest advanced from a preoccupation to a mission. After many business trips.
***** I do not have the journalist full name.I cut the page from Essence magazine as a part of my Black history pictures/stories. the lady is seated among 20 plus African relatives.
I use this picture for my Story to the little ones in the family.
