Direct application of law based on the misconception of someone that doesn't have an understanding of culture. What major city on EARTH doesn't have homeless people. What city with homeless people doesn't have panhandling.
They passed the ordinance because business owners NOW coming into the city due to gentrification believe that their clietele will be intimidated by panhandlers.
Intimidated? lol.
Anyone that lives in a city for better or worse gets to the point to where ignoring and K.I.M past a panhandler is as second nature as blinking.
But because the uninformed, unaware, and uneducated aren't given another image, a visage of REALITY or at least an alternative they will buy bullshit hook, line and sinker.
This is the type of shit that wears on our individual freedoms. I might be on a slippery slope, but in ATL alone it don't take long to watch misperceptions turn into law.
