Obama chose to put Wright on his public counsel, which I think was a huge risk. I don't see how Obama honestly didn't know about Wright bein an "out of pocket" religious leader. Wright's been that way for too long for Obama to be clueless after bein in his church and in close quarters with him for 20 years. I just don't think Obama thought about the media making as much of an issue out of it as they've been able to recently.
