"Weekend Soccer 12.08-09: Vote for Pedro"

City are yet to lose this season and the talk of unbeaten season has started to spread beyond the troll section. On paper a trip to Stamford Bridge seems like the best way to put that record to the test, but Chelsea have had their recent struggles (2 losses in their last 3 league games), illustrating how Sarri's acclimatization to the PL won't be so seamless after all. Sure, the Citizens will show up tomorrow without De Bruyne and Aguero, but with the form Mahrez and Sane are in, they may barely notice the absences. It's hard to get a sense from Sarri if he's ready to buck his ideas about where Kante/Jorginho should play but past evidence does not suggest the change will come this soon. Be that as it may, the Blues have the personnel to get their season back on track, and prove that the league is indeed not just a one team race this season.

For the Serie A crowd there is a tantalizing Juve/Inter on ESPN2 today at 2:30ET
