A litte backstory here:
Benavidez was Top Rank's goldenchild before Crawford was signed, so there could be some jealousy here and a desire to show that he's the rightful recipient of p4p status. A few months ago, Benavidez accused Crawford of ducking him to his face, which famously ended with Crawford saying "focus on your fight before you not make it to your fight" (Benavidez had an upcoming fight that weekend). A the weigh-in yesterday, Benavidez pushed Crawford and Crawford swung on him, barely missing. Both of these guys are "street" dudes and warriors, so don't expect any backing down in this one.
This will be the biggest guy Crawford has fought in his career, not only in height, but also in natural size. Crawford is widely considered the best p4p boxer in the sport, so let's see how he handles this one.
