After a brief interruption for the Nations "who you calling friendly?" League, club action opens back up with a bang, as Spurs host Liverpool in the early game tomorrow. Both team already have an eye on next week's Champions League openers, but they will surely both want to capitalize on their early success and claim 3pts that could be crucial both to title aspirations but also to momentum before they take on Inter and PSG. Tottenham will be glad to see the return of Son, now finally shorn of military service obligation, as they seek something similar to last year's astounding 4-1 thrashing. However it's clear Liverpool has made massive strides since that result, and they'll be confident in their chances to get at least a point, which they'll need to keep pace with both Chelsea and City facing mild opposition this weekend.
