Thats the thing that is getting exposed in all of this Kawhi stuff. It wasn’t the “Spurs way”, it was the TIm Duncan way and once Duncan left the magic was gone. Pop and company know it better than anyone. The secret elixir was Duncan’s selflessness, not some front office genius. It is why Duncan might be the most underrated player in league history.
