Even though by any standard City are having a historical season, the pretty turned to ugly in a hurry in the last two weeks, with three big losses against rivals and an overwhelming feeling that they had lost control somehow. Of course the title is still theirs, but the spectacular season has now sputtered to something a bit different. Into this maelstrom steps Tottenham, winner of 6 straight and still in the fight for a better spot than its current 4th place. A win won't give City the title but it would sure feel close to it considering the embarrassment of embarrassments from the last 3 games.
