there were kids ranked in the top 150 and beyond declaring for the draft. it was a topic of converstion on every major sports talk shot, back when sport jorunalism was serious. the sports reporters, CNN sports, outside the lines. there were horror stories like leon smith, korleone, omar weaver....just check RSCI top 100 for those years and see the names with no colleges. them nigga declared. most were sorry as hell and never heard from again.
