I think Tatum will end up being their best player eventually. I have no doubts Tatum could put up 20+ ppg every night with less efficiency right now on a different team. I also have no doubts that Simmons could be more “efficient” but with less “counting stats” if he was on the Celtics or another really good team.

My only point was you’ve gotta take everything into account. Just like someone shouldn’t automatically win because they have the best counting stats, you can’t go so far in the other direction and focus solely on efficiency or percentages either.

Should be a good race.
