Didn't read the article but I'd agree with his jumping mechanics being wack. He seems afraid to put power behind his leaping nowadays and with good reason. Plus he grew up playing on concrete playgrounds which is murda on the knees.

Watching the clips I linked made me realize how HARD he use to jump.

But to my point, he didn't throw his body into people. He just put too much force on his knees/knee ligaments.
