"A random wrestling post... Your all-time favorite finsishing move?" Fri Mar-21-14 06:46 AM by Dstl1
Yesterday, my son and I were chillin around the crib and he threw on Netflix. There was a doc about the top 50 finishing moves of all time. Shit REALLY took me back to some wrestlers and moments I had forgotten about. Some of the hilarious highlights that stood out for me: I had forgotten how Jeff Hardy used to do the "Swanton Bomb" off of ANYTHING, lol. Tall ass ladders, the tops of cages, an 18 wheeler (LOL). just for fun... http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshha1XGyD6Bof35s87P When Shawn Michaels did "Sweet Chin Music" on Marty Jannety and then rammed his head through the glass on The Barber Shop. I literally, no cising cried tears. My son was trippin off me not being able to stop laughing. The time when Triple H Pedigreed Mick Foley onto a bed of thumb tacks and they were sticking to his forehead and shit. How fuckin silly the People's Elbow was...I mean I know it was preceded by a better move, but still.
Few other things I noticed in general: All bullshit aside...Cena's "Attitude Adjustment" is pretty impressive. That's brute strength. Who's spear did yall like better...Edge or Brock Lesner? I'm sure this isn't breaking news to anyone, but "Walls of Jericho" and "The Sharpshooter" were essentially the same thing. Same goes for the "Stone Cold Stunner" and the "RKO". I lean toward Randy cuz he's from the Lou.
All that said...my personal favorite of all time would have to be "The Razor's Edge". Entertainment or not, that shit looked violent. Cats was landing right on the base of their necks. I woulda been scared if shit if I was a jobber and had to fight Ramon...cuz you knew you were gonna get it
