>he can do. Drummond has reached his ceiling in this >environment, if they are keeping him, he is going to be what >he is now.
Drummond is constantly adding. His shooting is actively improving, and his passing remains an underused asset. The issue is Casey letting him do everything he CAN do. Im sure it looks like hes plateaued when Casey is asking him to be the guy he was 3 years ago.
>Reggie Jackson is a great backup point guard. I >felt like they were more effective when Ish Smith was on the >floor.
I can promise you that Reggie is so much better than Ish that this is a nonstarter. They do NEED Ish, but the on/off record with Reggie speaks for itself, as does his 2nd half of the year.
>So go with Ish, Kennard, Thon, Drummond and one more >body for the rest of the series and run Jackson and a couple >of more dudes off the bench.
Thon maker had 2 fouls in 90 seconds. Who is he supposed to guard?
The real issue is the fact that Ed Stefanski felt like he needed to "put his stamp" on the team. Put Stanley on Giannis and Reggie Bullock on Middleton, and this whole shit looks different (mostly because we wouldnt be the 8) He got fleeced for Bullock, and Stanley isnt good enough to be a fleecing but he would be a hell of a lot more effective than Bruce Brown.
Alllllllll of this can be traced back to cutting SVG before his deal was up. Stupid then, no better in retrospect.
