Pretty much the same names from last year's Olympics standing out as favorites. Bolt's only doing 100m, I think. Rudisha is out of the 800m, which opens that event up a fair amount. Some young(ish) Americans emerging in events where we aren't necessarily favorites.
Ajee Wilson set an American Record in the 800m a couple weeks ago and hung with Semenya/Wambui all the way to the line. Evan Jager (last year's silver medalist) has the world leader in the steeplechase, where the medal stand has been almost exclusively Kenyan for about three decades.
