I don't think we've had one of these in a while...


The Elite:

1. Steph - no-brainer here, the reigning MVP is showing and proving by talking his game to an evening higher level and clearly separating himself from everyone else...

2. Russ - if Steph wasn't so ridiculous more people would probably talking about Russ and the amazing season he's putting together, he's one of the most explosive scorers in the league, 2nd in the league at almost 10 assists per game, and a plus defender at the point guard position...

3. CP3 - still elite, still can control a game better than anybody, but those other 2 guys have just passed him, at 30 years old, his overall numbers are slight down, he's probably nearing the end of his prime...

* interestingly those top 3 guys could potentially be free-agents next summer...

The Up and Comers:

4. Dame - maybe the best shooter at the point guard position not named Steph Curry, he has surprisingly kept a gutted Portland team semi-competitive...

5. Wall - this was supposed to be the year the Wiz make "the leap" but injuries have prevented that, Wall is still trying to figure out how to harness his immense talent but he is still doing his thing...

6. Reggie - surprisingly has the D in playoff contention leading a nice young core with Drummond and KCP...

7. Lil Zeke - after bouncing around to his 3rd team in 6 seasons he appears to have at least found a temporary home in Boston and has them fighting for a playoff spot...

Don't Forget About Us:

8. Lowry - his game isn't pretty but he's a bulldog and he gets it done and he has the Raps in 2nd place in the East...

9. Ronda - people wondered if he and Karl would get along but he's quietly putting up assist numbers like he didn't in his heyday, will be a free-agent in the off-season...

10. Conley - Not flashy but steady and solid, it will be interesting to see what the free-agent market is like for him as well...

11. Parker - getting up there playing career low mpg, he's never been asked to do a lot and with the way the are playing right now he really doesn't have to do a lot...

Incomplete:

Kyrie - still getting his legs back...
Bledsoe - out for the year...
