Must wins to get off the bubble: - Minnesota vs. Illinois: winner in great position, loser still in decent position... but at risk - Iowa needs to beat Northwestern and beat Michigan State to make a good argument - Maryland probably needs to win the tourney... it starts with Wake - Iowa State needs the win more than Oklahoma does: the Sooners should be safe, the Cyclones might be too... but the win would solidify - Baylor's beatdown of Kansas has them close... a win over OKST would make them hard to pass up - Tennessee is close, but can't afford an opening round loss - Arkansas can *maybe* slip in if they get all the way to the finals - a couple of wins could sneak Southern Miss into the field - Oregon *should* be okay... but a loss to Washington would end their season on three losses and that's... not good - Arizona State must be UCLA. A win might put them in, a loss definitely puts them out
Games I'm most excited for:
Minnesota vs. Illinois- 12 PM, BTN Iowa State vs. Oklahoma- 12:30 PM, ESPN2
Love bubble games. Always.
Cuse vs. Pitt- 2 PM, ESPN
Pitt won their only match. Cuse fans are cysed over the Seton Hall win today. Can they keep rolling?
Arizona State vs. UCLA- 3 PM
A talented backcourt with the Big Dance on the line against Shabazz, Adams, and co.
Colorado vs. Arizona- 5:30 PM
The Buffaloes have the talent to hang with anyone in the Pac-12. They split with Zona this season. Andre Roberson is back. Should be fun.
Nova vs. L'Ville- 7 PM, ESPN
Nova beat Louisville earlier this year. The media seems to believe Louisville is the consensus favorite to win it all. Nova could bump their seed pretty damn high with a season sweep.
Texas vs. KSU- 7 PM
With Kabongo on the court, Texas has the potential on a given night to go off.
Notre Dame vs. Marquette- 9 PM, ESPN
Lost at Marquette two weeks ago... but Cooley didn't play much.
Baylor vs. Oklahoma State- 9:30 PM, ESPN3
Baylor was two-tenths of a second in overtime from sweeping them this year. Two immensely talented rosters. One desperate for a win, one desperate for a better seed. This is my Game of the Day. Both are just so much fun to watch.
