It was a great trade at the time. Iggy should've been moved and they got maximum value back for him. He wasn't going to be re-upping in Philly anyway and worst-case we clear his cap space. We signed a bunch of shooters and scrub bigs to short deals, maintaining flexibility. They did everything right. The only regrettable thing really is that Vuc developed into a nice player. I would have no regrets.
The silver lining in this whole thing is that Jrue, Evan & Thad got room to get better and become the go-to guys on the team, so we have a better idea of what we have in those guys. It sucks that Bynum never made it on the court, even for like 20 games or something, but whatever. Even if he walks, the Sixers aren't in a bad position and ultimately didn't give up too much in the end.
