i hide a secret language
in my talks with you
this desire this need
encrypted in polite greetings
and cast off colloquialisms
it does not lie only with your body
which i would
give up the power of vocabulary
to lie within
next to
and underneath
these words
this oh so foreign but familiar speak
is my native language
given to me since birth
nurtured foolishly
with half-witted harlots
and voluntary spinsters
i give this to you
so that when the time comes
we are both
quite fluent.
