other than a platform for Portman to do a good impression, what did we learn here?

there really wasn't a conflict to drive anything interesting. no real character evolution, no real insight other than a few "behind the scenes" moments that may or may not even be based in fact. and I agree with the post above that the framing device of the interview is awkward and unnecessary.

Portman's dedication to the character is impressive, but i left this one with a shrug.
