These two categories are stacked:

Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series
Bryan Cranston, Breaking Bad
Jeff Daniels, The Newsroom
Jon Hamm, Mad Men
Woody Harrelson, True Detective
Matthew McConaughey, True Detective
Kevin Spacey, House of Cards

Outstanding Writing In A Drama Series
Moira Walley-Beckett, Breaking Bad
Vince Gilligan, Breaking Bad
David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Game of Thrones
Beau Willimon, House of Cards
Nic Pizzolatto, True Detective

Acting: I'd have liked to seen Woody get the Supporting Actor nomination and win that. I think this is the year that McConaughey wins Emmy and Oscar, has that been done before? Unless the two lead True Detectives take votes from each other. Spacey should have won last year rather than Jeff Daniels. It also defies belief that Jon Hamm has never won as Don Draper and if he doesn't win this or next year then one of the greatest characters of all time on TV will go unrecognised at the Emmys.

The writing category for drama is just insanely good. Both Benioff and Pizzolatto have backgrounds as novelists while Willimon is a playwright. I'd go with Pizzolatto.

In addition this years output in TV far outshines the output from feature films. This is the true golden age of TV and its a pleasure to be in the moment and watch it.
