I don't think a nomination for Ben is out of the question either.
I wasn't saying it's "too mediocre" to be a Best Picture winner. My comment was more of a knock on the Oscars than it was a knock on the movie. They're a self-important organization that usually gravitates towards conspicuously high-brow shit. This ain't really that. I can't think of many mainstream thrillers that have faired well at the Oscars, as least in terms of actually winning shit. (Silence of the Lambs?)
