I feel badly about comments I have made about him in the past. I never wanted to admit how much I liked him, for fear that it would diminish my love for Prince in some way. It's a great loss to the Black community, and the world at large. Just like someone said from Europe: it was the U.S. who killed him. Now we cannot even settle on a proper way to put him to rest, with the dignity and respect that he deserves, and has earned.
