is there a more famous, more recognizable figure in the world than MJ? honestly, there are world leaders, actors, sports stars, captains of industry, etc that could all die today and none would come close to the impact that MJ's death seems to be having.

i find it really truly amazing how many people his music, films, and images have touched. moreso, it always amazes me to see young kids, like 4 and 5 years old, not only recognizing him but knowing and singing along to his songs. it just goes to show how great a musician he really was and how timeless his songs are.
