Longtime Lesson Heads will no doubt recognize my handle and may also remember Regenerated Headpiece (or RHP), the group I recorded and performed with (and endlessly promoted on OKP) in the previous decade.
I'm posting today to let The Lesson know that Headsnack, RHP's former frontman/producer, just released his solo debut through Phil's Records, a new indie label owned and operated by former Ruffhouse Records co-founder Phil Nicolo (Butcher Bros.)
Headsnack knows that there is truth, beauty, and humor to be mined from our absurd dystopia, and on this new album, Secret Handshake, he’s deployed his incisive powers of observation, sardonic wit, and signature production style to address some of the major issues of our time as only he can. The result is an album that delivers a barrage of powerful yet entertaining messages that are both socially and politically aware.
