The Royce thread got me thinking that after about 6 full listens to his new album, I'm likely not coming back to it. So is that just a product of how I listen to music now; disposable. or... is it just that as nice as Royce is, I don't have further interest in hearing that particular album?

I listen to much more hip-hop than other genres of music. Therefor it seems ironic that the albums I come back to the most are not Hip-Hop per se. I think I just burn out all the really good hip-hop due to marathoning. There has been a tremendous amount of really good hip-hop recently, these last few months especially, and I think I get bored/tired of an album quicker these days...and I notice it.


All this to say... there are a few albums that I don't seem to get bored with, circa the last couple years.
