Like, his stuff legit sounds like the underground stuff from back in the day that wasn't on any major label (quality/texture/ demo tape/lo fi wise). Creatively, he definitely captures the spirit of the early half of the decade. Like I had said in another post, a lot of the boom bap nowadays has its own feel (nothing wrong with that) and doesn't feel like the '90s. This kid's albums sound like they could've came out in our teens/20s. Lyrically, he holds it down. Not saying he's the most mind blowing MC ever heard but he's not wack at all. Maybe yall will feel differently. Check it out:
