"Milo - Who Told You to Think??!!?!?!?!"
Milo, who released one of my favorite hip hop albums in recent memory two years ago (So The Flies Don't Come) just dropped his new album yesterday. This is definitely one of my favorite hip hop albums so far this year and is very different from his last album. It feels a bit more free (experimental) than his last album because of his use of vocal effects (which he does do live) and it's definitely jazzier. At times it feels Madlib-ish to me. I'd say my favorite tracks so far are "the young man has a point (nurture)" and "rapper (feat. Busdriver)". Might not be for everybody, but dude is definitely one of the best doing it right now IMO. Definitely strongly recommended for people who like lyricists like MF Doom, Busdriver, Open Mike Eagle, Aesop Rock etc.
