now that this isn't "new", or "buzzing"... what do you make of this kind of music?

i'm all for live programming with the life-like timing, but in the mid-late 00's it got taken to ridiculous levels where people were intentionally programming drums that sounded like they were programmed by someone with down syndrome.

at the time it "worked", but do you ever have any of this stuff come up on your playlist in 2014?

with the ultra-exacto quantification we've seen drum programming turn after lex luger, this stuff was pretty much left in the dust.

for me, i just had a song come up on random by s*m**am and i was shocked at how fucking wack it sounded with fresh ears.

"buzz" ultimately can fool even the best of us.

what are your thoughts?
