Downloaded. Your remix is much better than the original track. Definite head nodder. Premier-esque without being derivative. Btw, are you on social media? Twitter?
What hardware do you have? I started out looking at the MPD yesterday morning and 6 hours later I'm determined to get the MPC Renaissance. LOL. I kinda feel dumb for not getting an MPC (or something) like 8 years ago. I started out on a sampler (Roland JS-30) but I sold it when I moved to China 10 years ago, and just never replaced it.
I suck at setting up software/plugins/patches/Reason/MIDI all that garbage, so my all computer setup gathers figurative dust as well at times. I'm wondering if the MPD would be too much hassle. And, after ten years I still haven't figured out an easy way to pitch shift samples so they don't sound modulated/digitally distorted. I just want to spin a wheel and have the hardware pitch it up and down, and then put it on pads/buttons. I love that the MPC has audio inputs, and you can export separate tracks all at once to your DAW after you're done with a beat. And damn, an MPC would def. be a huge upgrade over the JS-30. I was already looking at prices for the MPD's but I read on Amazon that the pads are definitely not the same as the MPC's. (I admit I've also been watching Marco Polo beat-making videos on Youtube.)
Anyway, I better go iron my shirt, I need to go to the bank to ask for a loan. "I'll make the money back selling beats, you'll get your money back to you in mere days, son!"
